“Susaki” is one of the oldest Japanese-style restaurants in Gifu, in operation since the late Edo period. Enjoy a private dinner at a Japanese-style restaurant designated as a tangible cultural property of Takayama and located on a corner of the old township of Takayama. In a space that will allow you to feel the peaceful and intimate traditional style of Hida, you will see only sights and hear only sounds of the Sowagonomi spirit, including sukiya-style drawing rooms and Japanese zen gardens, as well as pieces of furniture. The dishes are based on Sowaryu Honzen, brimming with the spirit of the tea ceremony, with an expertly prepared special menu that can be enjoyed even with a limited amount of time.
